Ryan is giving Adam a lot of grief over his nominations right now in the backyard. “I F’d up,” said Adam. “I fell for it.” No kidding.
Ryan points out that all the people that had his back are pissed at him and James & Sharon are flying high instead.
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:34 pm
I don’t see why Sharon is flying high… if it stays the same, she might very well be out of the house! I don’t think the others would keep Sharon (who has been with the “other” side of the house since get go) over Sheila (who James can’t stand), would they? With Sharon out of the house James is REALLY on his own!
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:39 pm
It wouldn’t seem like Sharon is flying high, but consider this:
James wins PoV. He can’t be nominated as a replacement*. James uses PoV to save Sharon. Adam has to nominate either Natalie or Ryan. James & Sharon have 2 votes against 1 from the other side of the house. Those two will decide who goes home.
This is better for Sharon than if James was nominated with her. If that was the case James would use the PoV, Adam would replace him with Nat or Ryan, and Sharon would go home.
So it might not seem like an ideal spot for Sharon, but it’s really a lot, lot better than the alternative for her chances of survival.
[* One reader suggested that only the PoV holder, not the winner as well, was immune from nomination. This is not the case. That week’s winner of the PoV is safe, not matter whether he/she uses it on him/herself or on someone else or on no one at all. That’s just part of the PoV rules.]
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:00 pm
Matt- You are so smart! That would be an awesome way to get rid of Nattie or Ryan!
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:09 pm
Oh Lisa2, flattery will get you everywhere!
The PoV will happen on Friday. So I’ll post those results as soon as they happen (usually evening time).
Then Sunday we’ll get the PoV ceremony on the feeds. But we should know tomorrow whether it’ll be used or not.
I’ll keep everyone updated!
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:23 pm
RIGHT!! I don’t know what I was thinking there! Wow, that does put a dent in things if it doesn’t work out! Adam… what a dumbass!!! lol! but it would definitely make things interesting in the house! adam… what a dumbass!!
But who knows… maybe now James will lose POV!! Maybe it’ll be his punishment for being cocky and overconfident! (i know, i know… wishful thinking with that POV comp freak! lol)
April 4th, 2008 at 12:50 am
If James were to use the POV on Sharon then he would be eligible to go up on the block. The power of veto only saves the person holding it. The HOH amd POV holders are the only two that cannot be put up for eviction.
[Ed note: See my comment below. PoV winner can NOT be put up as a nom replacement if he/she uses it. That’s part of the rules for the Power of Veto.]
April 4th, 2008 at 1:04 am
Just because James has won the past few POV’s doesn’t mean he’s a shoe in to win. The one with the counting, he only won because Ryan kept folding and giving up, when he would have won! James has yet to win HOH lately, that is reserved for Ryan/Nat/Adam’s side of the house. So don’t jump to conclusions, it very well could happen that Sharon just gets voted straight out, or someone takes Sheila off and they backdoor James. VERY very possible. I wouldn’t be too confident right now if I were James. Hope it happens that way!!
April 4th, 2008 at 1:14 am
It is so obvious that in order to keep the ratings up and stir drama in the house, BB is helping James along the way in this game. Sure the guy is winning POV’s but he need’s to go and join Chelsia. BTW: Sharon is not much better….her laugh is worse than Nat’s husky mousy voice. Adam tell Sheila to bag it already and just go out and kick butt tomorrow!
April 4th, 2008 at 1:29 am
Adam is definitely an F-TARD. Best case scenario, anybody but the pink-haired wonderbread wins POV, then Adam can redeem himself and put the crybaby back on the block. Although, getting rid of Kimberly this week would accelerate the inevitable.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:32 am
Or…..Sharon can win POV, take herself off and James gets backdoor’d. However, I would (almost) donate my 42″ HDTV never to have to see Natalie’s sanctimonous face and voice again. Sorry guys…..I just can’t reconcile her great Christian values with her 5 abortions.
On BB AD “Natty” was telling Ryan how pissed Matty would be. She truly is dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to men, I (almost) feel sorry for her. She has told things best not told and is in love with someone who can’t stand her, both on national TV for heaven’s sake.
April 4th, 2008 at 8:57 am
@Ray: That’s not correct. The PoV winner can not be nominated if he/she chooses to use it to save someone on the block. Otherwise only half the people playing the PoV game would ever consider using it.
April 4th, 2008 at 9:01 am
OK…Adam is PLAYING his game! He is actually very smart! He made a good move by not putting James up. He didn’t put James up b/c he was covering all of his bases. If James wins veto, James will think Adam had his back. Therefore IF James were to win HOH he wouldn’t put Adam on block. If James doesn’t win veto, James is backdoored and leaves. He’s playing dumb to his side so they will think he’s dumb and was tricked into not putting James up.
April 4th, 2008 at 9:12 am
Now…if james does win veto and uses it….then we have a game! It would be the BEST time to take Natalie (or Ryan) out. I like James and hope he can pullit out. As far as BB helping him out…come on. I agree they play certain types of comps to favor certain HG’s but that person still has to win. James is a very good competitor! He holds the record for this house. EVERYONE else is jealous and scared of him. I’m “PRAYING” James makes it to the end…
April 4th, 2008 at 9:18 am
@Matt: I would have to disagree, unless you feel safe then you would keep the noms the same. If you are down to four people the person holding the POV determines who goes home. Final Four: you are not on the block, you use the POV to save someone, you will go on the block. The only time the rules change is final three HOH gets to vote and determine who stays and who goes. So, unless you are holding the POV you are elegible to be nominated.
April 4th, 2008 at 9:32 am
@Ray: You said that if James used the PoV this week to save Sharon he’d be eligible for nomination as a replacement. That’s not accurate.
In this case it would greatly benefit James to save Sharon and force the eviction of Ryan or Nat, especially since he’s in no danger if he saves Sharon. Those two (Nat & Ryan) are against him while Sharon is at least on his side of the house.
The second part where you’re saying that if you use the PoV and there are only four people in the house, then that’d be correct. However, we’ve still got more than four people, so that doesn’t apply this week.
But again, you’re off on the idea that in this situation, this week, right now, if James wins the PoV and uses it that he’d be vulnerable. Simply not the case. Winner of PoV is safe [from nomination] that week. Recipient of PoV is safe that week.
I promise I’m not making this up.
[Edited to include note that winner of pov is safe from being nominated should they decide to use it and force the HoH to replace their veto.]
April 4th, 2008 at 9:41 am
Hopefully it is an endurance competition!!!
@Whoever thinks BB is helping James along… if that were true, why has he lost the last several HOH competitions?
We love and support you, James!!! Get those religious hypocrite’s out of there!!!
April 4th, 2008 at 11:00 am
Oh BB is helping the heck out of James. The Diary Room convinced Adam to not nominate James last night. Then afterwards on the feeds when Adam would start telling Ryan about how “they cornered me in there and confused me,” the feeds would cut off.
BB doesn’t want you to know just how much they influence the game and players. It happens, but that’s just part of the game and part of making it fun to watch.
I hope it’s an endurance comp too!
April 4th, 2008 at 11:16 am
I don’t find this comforting at all. Has it occurred to anyone this may be the PERFECT way to get rid of James? They probably planned it this way figuring if they put him up AGAIN, he’ll just him himself off again. But this way if he doesn’t keep up his POV winning streak –Don’t put him up, let one of the others win POV, take Sheila off — put James up and then he has NO way to get himself off. I believe he’s screwed this week and this will be the way they finally get rid of him. Personally, he’s the only one I think deserves to win right now — he’s playing a perfect game!

Sorry for the duplicate — first timer *shrug*

@Cathy: No problem, I’ll delete it out for you. That happens often when the comment doesn’t post and folks try again. Our system just puts first time comments into a queue for spam review.
April 4th, 2008 at 12:40 pm
James is my favorite. I know he will end up winning the POV. He is the best player in the house.
April 4th, 2008 at 12:52 pm
I agree with you Lola! I would love to see James win the game. I’m tired of Natalie’s preaching!
April 4th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
Plus he seems to be a true person — very sensitive, was really there for Amanda with her medical crisis, etc. He also seems to be a straight shooter when it comes to telling people how it is. I only wish he had explained better to everyone why he ended up “breaking his word” and putting Matty up (gosh do I despise that guy and the way he treated Nat).
April 4th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Are you kidding me?!?!?! I was about to cancel my live feed and stop watching entirely. This brings some life back to it. Awesome stuff.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
I want James out. I like Natalie, Ryan and Adam.
They are my favorites. Natalie is really playing the game now Matt is gone.
Ryan needs to be more sure of himself and they better all fight hard this week, so James can be sent home.
April 4th, 2008 at 3:39 pm
I will be happy if Adam, Ryan or Natalie wins.
April 4th, 2008 at 4:26 pm
omg adam what are you thinking?????
April 4th, 2008 at 4:26 pm
Ryan for President!!!!
April 4th, 2008 at 4:32 pm
Didn’t Marcellas win the POV once and take someone off the block and then he in turn got nominated? Since the POV winner and recipient are immune then why didn’t James give the POV to Chelsia? Not trying to stir up anything but I have never heard this rule and would just like to know which scenario is the right one. Thanks and I am addicted to this site!! Should be an interesting week.
April 4th, 2008 at 4:37 pm
@Jess: James was already nominated that week. If he used it on Chelsia she would have come off, but he could still be evicted as he was already a nominee.
If you win the PoV you can’t then be nominated after using it to save someone else.
It doesn’t make you immune from eviction, just from post-use nomination.
Again, gotta think about the logic here: If you could get nominated after using it to save an alliance partner then who would ever use it? Then half the people playing for it would never use it if they won it.
Also, if the PoV operated as some are suggesting the HoH could shut down anyone’s attempt to use the PoV by saying, “If you use it to save ‘whoever’ then I will nominate you in his/her place.” Now that wouldn’t make any sense, would it? Nope.
Regarding Marcellas: You’re a little mixed up on his situation. He was nominated near the end of the game and then won the PoV. If he had used it to take himself off then his friend Amy would have gone up in his place and possibly been evicted. So he declined to use it, thinking the other guy would be evicted, but instead he himself was evicted.
From there you get people talking still today about always being sure to save themselves if they win the PoV and not make a “Marcellas move”.
Glad you’re enjoying the site! Hope you keep coming back all season (and next: http://bigbrother10.net )!
April 4th, 2008 at 4:53 pm
natalie couldn’t fight her way out of a wet paper bag. she might be playing the game, but she will be no good when her so called friends she bitch, and the cowardly lion (ryan) are gone. hey nat: maybe you should put on your shiny red shoes and click three times and see where that gets you . who is the real wizard here???
April 4th, 2008 at 5:07 pm
Matt, any idea what time the POV Comp is?
April 4th, 2008 at 5:22 pm
I’ll tell you what. James is not the king of competitions as everyone seems to think - he came close to losing the POV last time, and when did he last win HOH? Huh????? I have a good feeling that he won’t win. Then he’ll go cry himself to sleep. Or bug the whole house with his whining, sniveling and complaining for the rest of the week. He’s such a big baby - he is NOT going to win BB, it’s going to be Nat, Ryan or Adam. And Natalie is a lot smarter than people seem to think!! She’s doing pretty good, while James is afraid for his life every week, she can just sit back and laugh!
April 4th, 2008 at 5:26 pm
Nat is smoking HOT too! James is “DU triple N DUNNN” LOL Go Nat!
April 4th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
@Greg: The PoV competition ran for quite awhile, but the feeds are back and results are in!

April 4th, 2008 at 6:28 pm
okay,
first: Betsy… are you off your rocker?? you’ve gone mad! Let me tell you something, you obviously don’t watch BBAD, ’cause if you did you would know that Nat is THE ULTIMATE PUPPET MASTER!!! SHE is controlling what goes on in that house and even better, she’s doing it without others realising she’s doing it!
Sharon was TOAST… until Nat got involved! Y’all don’t see it! you hate her so much (for stupid reasons too i might add) that you can’t see just how good of a player she really is!
MATT!! Help me out here dude! educate these ppl please!
even when she was doing James’ hair! The Bullshit she was spewin’! She a straight up hustla! That’s a true player right there!
April 4th, 2008 at 6:32 pm
LOLO
Who are you to call anyone a hypocrite??? Do you know these people personally?? They like to preach… so what? and yes she’s had abortions… do you know the reasons or the circumstances that brought her to those decisions?? I’ll tell ya what if having abortions means you can’t get to heaven, then you are definitely going to hell, because you just committed the biggest sin of them all - Thinking you’re GOD and have the right to judge people! Read a book (or two… hell read a pamphlet even!) and educate yourself!
hehe.
April 4th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
one more comment (hey i’m on a roll! lol)…
i TRY to understand where people are coming from when they make comments stating that James is playing a perfect game, but i just don’t get it! AHEM: PEOPLE… HE GOT VOTED OUT!! HE’S ON THE BLOCK EVERY WEEK… WAKE UP!!! his game is FAR, OH SO VERY FAR, from perfect! He is GREAT at POV comps tho!
and then there are the people that say he’s a straight shooter!!! HAHAHA… people… the ONLY thing he straight shoots is other men’s dicks in his mouth!! (and that’s okay, if that’s the type of thing you’re into! lol)… but he’s NOT a straight shooter, he lies JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE GAME, and he only gets in women’s faces… Look at when he found out that Matt hadn’t voted to bring him back in he wasn’t man enough to go and step to him and start yelling in his face that he was a two-faced bitch, a c—, or anything! Hmmmm, wonder why?
April 4th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
James is not a straight shooter he’s a two faced player lies to your face, look what he did to Natalie when she made the deal with him to not put her or Matt up on the block. A deals a deal and or words are your words. RIGHT JAMES? NO HE DOESN’T GET IT
April 5th, 2008 at 1:53 am
James was my fav he played the game worked hard now that he will be leaving I’ll quit watching the others are so boring like watching paint dry
April 5th, 2008 at 7:00 pm
Why does everyone hate James so much? I hope he wins POV. Do you honestly want nasty Natt to win who is clueless that Matt wants nothing to do with her? Sheila is a flip-flopper and is bi-polar. One minute she likes Adam and the next she can’t stand him. Go James or Sharon. Adam does not have a backbone and Natt does need to get an education.
April 5th, 2008 at 8:43 pm
I can’t wait to see James leave it was great when James left the 1st time, I was so happy. When the house voted him back in I was what the heck are they thinking.
April 5th, 2008 at 8:47 pm
I wanted Matt to win I so upset he is gone.
April 6th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
OMG people!!!! Is no one else happy Shelia is up. She is such a crybaby. I hope she gets evicted(even though I know it won’t happen)!!!! I’m even happier that Adam put her on the block… hahaha
April 6th, 2008 at 8:45 pm
James is a cry baby loser
April 6th, 2008 at 8:49 pm
Does anyone believe him about the crying putting it on to win the game
April 7th, 2008 at 7:03 am
im from england and totally hooked on big brother..i love James , i cant stand any of the others…James to win!!!!!!!!!
April 9th, 2008 at 9:32 pm
Thank God James is finally out for good
ha ha James
