Big Brother 9 Power of Veto Ceremony Results - Spoilers
March 16th, 2008 Nominations, PoV,Wow. So much for James’ big talk about coming back into the house was an eye opener that he wouldn’t screw over people or backdoor anyone. In today’s Power of Veto ceremony James, the winner of this week’s PoV, used it to save Sheila and replaced her with Matt despite his promise to Natalie to not do so.
What the heck was I thinking when I started to believe that James would keep his word or that this epiphany of “play clean” would last more than 2 days. Matt is confident he’ll go home in lieu of Ryan come Wednesday. I don’t know, he might be able to wiggle out the votes he needs.

I wish BB would redeam themselves and keep Ryan and Matt this week, then do a double evivtion next week. I cannot stand some people being so boastful and hypocritical. James and Chelsia will win this ganme if the other houseguests (Joshua, Sharon, Adam, and two faced Sheila) do not open their eyes.

I can’t stand Matt OR Natalie!….I would love to see one or both of them GONE!…Matt THINKS he is sexy?!…EWWWW! and Natalie makes a fool of herself when it comes to Matt! They would make a beautiful baby together though…since 2 ugly people make cute babies!

Good for him. Mattie sucks. He is all talk no action. He has to depend on a girl he treats like shit to protect his ass. Why should James keep his word when they all lied to his face and they back doored him. Just because he said that he was being factitious IMO. This game is nothing but lies and deception. He’s back and he is taken revenge and I love it. James all the way!!

@RJ: the HoH is one of the default players in the PoV competition. James was gunning hard this week and as such he won it while being HoH. He then had the choice to veto his own noms and pick a new one.

James and Chelsia are definately the most powerful couple in the house. I’m very glad to see that James put Matty up bc all hes been doing is talking non-stop shit! He needs to go once and for all so that chelsia and James can bring Natalie over to their side. GO JAMES AND CHELSIA!!!!

If Matt gets evicted I really hope he punches James in the mouth before leaving the house! what i’m really hoping for is the rest of the house to vote for matt to stay… cause he’s the only one that can take on and get rid of The pink haired tube steak smoker!

James NEVER said that he wouldn’t backdoor Matt, only that he wouldn’t “Nominate” him. I think James honored his deal with Nat by not initially nominating her or Matt. Good job, James!

I dont think it’s fare that the H.O.H. can also win the P.O.V. I thought the reasoning behind the Veto was to have the ability to take yourself or someone else off the block nominated by the Head Of Houshold. I agree the the game is fixed by BB. I dont want Matty to go he is a great character and sexy.

Agreed. James went back on the promise, but that’s what BB is all about and it wouldn’t be as much fun if everyone was honest and upfront.
I just loved how much BB harped on James’ promises in last night’s episode so they could set it up for Tuesday when he totally backtracks and screws Matt.

I hate james and chelsia. i love ryan. hes a cutie! I have been watching big brother for the last 9 years and im telling you, i am very upset with how things have been working. america voted for alex to come back in the house and i think thats what should of happened! they should of never left it up to the house, what was the point of having america vote. give someone else a second chance! someone who really deserved it. Like ALEX!! I hope Ryan does win it all but who know what will happen on bb.

I also agree that james is just playing the game and that he is doing a great job in playing the game, but if he didnt get that second chance the game would be interesting to because of chelsia going after ryan. who know we will see what happens at the next hoh. I Love BB its keeps you in suspense, i just wish when america gets involved,BB keeps it the way we want it!

I don’t know why all these “James” fans think he is anything but a back-stabbing liar, and ALWAYS has been!! Everyone is on his side because they think he got played by being evicted, but he was the FIRST one in this house to lie and go back on his word, telling Matt in like week 2 that he would never put him up, he had his back, then a couple hours later put him up. Now he has all the speeches about “your word is all you have!” and “I wouldn’t come back in this house just to screw people over!”. He’s an idiot, a big baby, a liar and I can’t wait until he gets what’s coming to him next!! He and Chelsia, the biggest idiots to ever play BB!!!

@Lisa: James is playing this game just like everyone else. Yeah, he may have said that stuff about ‘your word is all you have’ but thats really all that you do have in that game. Any true BB fans have seen from the past that everyone goes back on their word at one point or another….sooooooooo….to come on here and whine about James going back on his word is completely lame and annoying.

It’s all politics. James made a deal with Nat his deal was that she and Matt were safe - he wouldn’t nominate them. He kept that deal on nomination day. He didn’t say “never” did he? That’s politics. Everyone in the house has done it - Matt has said “I’ve got your back” so many times. We all know the only back he’s got is his own - just like everyone.

Oh please. I can’t stand another moment of everyone telling Natalie what is going on and her running to Matt. Her voice is like nails on a chalk board to me. Ugh!! Matt just needs to be taken out. After he went after Natalie and made her believe that if she ever voted different then him, then she would be out - bully. He needs out. He’s a big bully. I am glad that James won the POV. I hate Mattie. He is all talk. James promised his safety and would not put him up for nominations per Nat but made no promises about POV. What goes around comes around. Yes everyone lies in the game. I think if James won, he would put the money to good use and give some to charity. Matt thinks he is hot stuff and controls Nat. Yes when she kept talking during the disco ball competition I just wanted to deck her. Hide those breasts, she is not attractive at all. You go Chelsia. It has been so hillarios this week. I have never seen that many grown men cry so much. Oh, for those who seen James snap on Shiela on Showtime that was INTENSE. All these cry babies I cant stop rewinding and laughing at the guy with the pink mohawk. I thought at any moment he was gonna cry out MOMMMY. Poor James he lost is security blank like Linus from Charlie Brown. Will someone tell these guys to keep there thumb out of there mouth please!!!! I would like Joshua to stay he is such a drama queen I love that. This nomination is very sticky.
