Adam… shame on you. I too thought it was wonderful that you would share with “your kids”… you played that hand all season, I thought you were sort of “out there” and a jerk from time to time, but the one really redeaming thing about you was that you were going to help kids, and do something productive with that money. You should be ashamed of yourself. You probably would not have won had the world and the jury known this. How can you look in the mirror?

I think looking at $500,000 it is easy to see that that amount of money is life changing and easy to see yourself giving $100,000 to charity with that amount, but come on. $250,000 after taxes and you are going to give $100,000 to charity. no way. I would not do it either. $250,000 IS LIFE CHANGING, $150,000 IN THIS ECONOMY IS NOT.

Thank you, Alicia for agreeing with me and to Tracy, I think your idea is also excellent. I couldn’t imagine me going into the Big Brother house with one of my family members. But one slight comment is that having doubles would me the show shorter; unless they think the houseguests individuals again.

I love the comments.
Isn’t it wonderful we all can afford the luxury of arguing about what Adam does with his money when there is so much tragedy going on in the world?
I think many here should be reminded that all the lunacy and idiocy demonstrated by the Big Brother 9 contestants helped us all momentarily forget some of the world’s heartlessness.
Like Adam or his housemates or not, at least most of us can say we were entertained, amused, disgusted, and/or shocked.
Which is what this show is all about- not saving the world.
Sure, it would be nice if Adam decided to give some of his winnings to charity, but let’s face it, the house mates didn’t wait in line for hours during casting interviews so they could contribute to society.
Self-absorption, narcissism and a neurotic need for attention seem to be the prerequisites for Big Brother candidates.
I adored Adam’s lovable kookiness, despite his and Ryan’s limited vocabulary (and intelligence) when it came to women.
You can just chalk that up to the callowness of youth!
